Note from the editor
Hinged.press began life on Medium in 2014 as The Weekly Knob by way of a story called “You Say You’re A Writer But Are You A Real Writer?”written by our co-founding editor/writer, Sandy Knight. The story caught the eye and imagination of co-founding editor, Aura Wilming who solicited Knight to consider publishing weekly writing challenges. Knight created the publication and called it The Weekly Knob after the very first prompt: doorknob. The door imagery stuck and over the years our publication has morphed into yet another very important element of the door/story.
